e& is a major investor in Vodafone Group.

At GITEX 2023, the world’s largest tech show, Vodafone Business and e& solidified their alliance by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), outlining their joint commitment to market, sell, and service businesses and public sector organizations across their respective footprints. The collaboration is focused on supporting digital transformations through the amalgamation of their offerings, operational scale, and complementary geographic presence.

The Al-Futtaim Group, a prominent conglomerate engaged in diversified sectors such as automotive, retail, real estate, finance, and health, is the first beneficiary of this collaborative venture. Opting for this partnership due to the extensive cross-border digital connectivity services, management, and security provided by e& and Vodafone, Al-Futtaim Group aims to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while scaling securely and cost-effectively in new markets.

To accelerate its digital transformation and cloud adoption across eight countries, the Al-Futtaim Group will leverage Vodafone’s advanced software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) in conjunction with expert hybrid managed connectivity solutions offered by e&.

The MoU between Vodafone and e& outlines principal areas of focus, including close collaboration with enterprise customers across various markets and joint offerings of cross-border digital services and solutions in compliance with relevant laws.

The collaboration aims to drive innovation in digital products and services, covering areas such as SD-WAN and SD-LAN, IoT, Mobile Private Networks, cloud solutions, device lifecycle management, and unified collaboration and communication tools.
