Norway and Singapore lead in mobile and fixed broadband speeds

Norway and Singapore are the top spots for global mobile speeds and fixed broadband speeds, with a download speed of 129.40 Mbps and 209.21 Mbps respectively.
Telstra broadbandIndia recorded 14.28 Mbps median mobile download speeds in May 2022 as compared with 14.19 Mbps in April 2022, improving its global ranking at 115th, improving three positions, according to Ookla.

India also improved its global ranking for fixed download speeds, from 76th in April to 75th in May 2022, Ookla, the global leader in network intelligence and connectivity insights, said in its Speedtest Global Index for May 2022.

India’s performance in median download speeds on fixed broadband witnessed a slight dip from 48.09 Mbps in April 2022 to 47.86 in May 2022.
