Airtel free Wi-Fi in Gurgaon
Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel today said it is powering free Wi-Fi services in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR.

The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon is promoting the public Wi-Fi hotspots in the city, which is part of Haryana. Bharti Airtel, India’s largest telecom operator based on annual revenue and mobile subscriber base, bagged the Wi-Fi deal last year to launch Wi-Fi services in the city.

Haryana’ chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Dhruv Bhagat, CEO – Delhi / NCR at Bharti Airtel, among others, attended the function to launch free Wi-Fi services in Gurgaon.

People visiting MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29 market and Sarhaul Village can enjoy free Wi-Fi on their devices. All users with a Wi-Fi compatible device can access the free Wi-Fi service in Gurgaon, said Airtel. When in proximity to the Wi-Fi, a user has to enable Wi-Fi in their device settings and search for MCG powered by Airtel.

Users can connect to the broadband service by following some steps. Users can enjoy a free daily quota limit of 30 minutes per day per device. Post 30 minutes, users need to pay for the Wi-Fi service. Airtel says the broadband rate is affordable to Indian Internet users.

Bharti Airtel users will be charged on their data plan / packs, while non-Airtel users can buy online vouchers with affordable deals. Airtel customers can use the Airtel Hangout app as well in order to connect to the Wi-Fi service in Gurgaon.

Dhruv Bhagat, CEO – Delhi/NCR, Bharti Airtel, said: “We are very happy to partner with the Gurgaon administration and enable citizens in the Millennium City to experience world-class internet services on the go.”
