Telia names Christian Luiga as acting president and CEO

Telia Company today announced the appointment of Christian Luiga as acting president and CEO.

Christian Luiga will be temporary replacement for Johan Dennelind. Telia will be naming a permanent CEO soon.

Christian Luiga is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer of Telia Company. Christian Luiga joined Telia Company in 2009 and headed Corporate Control until April 2014, when he was appointed CFO of the company.

Douglas Lubbe will be the new acting CFO of Telia Company. His most recent position was CFO of Telia Sweden.

Cecilia Lundin, senior vice president and head of People and Brand, and Jonas Bengtsson, senior vice president and group general counsel and head of Corporate Affairs, will keep their current roles but as executive vice presidents. All other members of the Group Executive Management continue in their current positions.

Johan Dennelind, who announced his resignation as president and CEO of Telia Company in August, will leave his position but will remain at the company’s disposal until he leaves the company during 2020.
