Spirent provides test solutions to CETECOM for Verizon Wireless LTE device acceptance testing

announced that CETECOM has selected its will use Spirent’s LTE and
CDMA test solutions to expand its operator acceptance testing services.

 

CETECOM is an acknowledged top-tier Verizon
Wireless device acceptance laboratory and Spirent is very excited to be
extending our partnership with them. With Spirent’s leadership and complete LTE
and CDMA test functionality, CETECOM is now equipped to address critical areas
such as Simultaneous Voice and LTE Data (SVLTE) as well as multi-mode testing,”
said Hesham ElHamahmy, vice-president of Spirent.

 

The company said that its mobility, data, RF, and
location test solutions now enable CETECOM to offer comprehensive acceptance
testing for Verizon Wireless. This strategic move represents an important
milestone for CETECOM in enhancing its Verizon Wireless LTE device acceptance
testing leadership.

PCTEST improves LTE testing capabilities with additional
Spirent equipment

 

A few months back, Spirent Communications announced that
PCTEST Engineering Laboratory has expanded its automated mobile device testing
capabilities with the addition of several Spirent hardware and software
solutions.

 

PCTEST can now perform a range of CDMA and LTE mobile
device testing including multimode testing. These new competences include data
throughput, data retry, simultaneous voice and LTE (SVLTE), InterRAT (iRAT)
testing, enhanced location based service (LBS) testing, simultaneous voice and
data (SVD) and more.
