The 5G base station manufacturing test solution will assist network equipment manufacturers to streamline volume test of 5G New Radio (NR) infrastructure equipment, accelerating the deployment of 5G networks.

Leading 5G network equipment making companies include Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE, Samsung and Nokia.

The 5G base station manufacturing test solution uses hardware and software platforms including Keysight’s PathWave which support the latest 3GPP 5G NR Rel. 15.2.0 standards. This enables wireless equipment manufacturers to transition from R&D design validation, to integration and verification, to volume manufacturing.

Keysight Technologies said it delivers the scalability NEMs need to cost-effectively and quickly validate complex 5G designs across both sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) frequency bands in over-the-air (OTA) and conducted test environments.

The S9100A uses Keysight’s new PXIe vector transceiver (VXT) to provide RF performance in a compact modular design, for improved efficiency and scalability in manufacturing test. Keysight’s VXT offers bandwidth support of up to 1.2 GHz, combined with mmWave transceiver heads, to deliver Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) and Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR) performance across FR1 and FR2 in a small footprint.

Keysight Technologies announced the new, enhanced Keysight E8740A Automotive Radar Signal Analysis and Generation solution. This new solution enables radar-based, advanced driver assistance systems to proactively detect and mitigate risks of collisions.

The new version of the Keysight E8740A automotive radar signal analysis and emulation solution is based on physical layer instruments to ensure best in class radio frequency (RF) and mmWave performance verification for each radar design under test.
