Viva Bahrain, a part of Saudi Telecom Company (STC), announced the deployment of 5G telecommunications technology in Bahrain.
VIVA Bahrain have recently showcased the speeds and capabilities of VIVA 5G for homes and businesses with 5G-enabled devices for public trial such as 4K UHD TV, Virtual Reality (VR) goggles.
VIVA Bahrain achieved unprecedented gigabit speeds reaching up to 1.5 Gbps using a broadband router.
“As an industry first, this milestone reinforces Bahrain’s digital position in the Middle East region and enhances Bahrain’s readiness for next generation technologies in support of Bahrain’s vision 2030,” Ulaiyan Al Wetaid, CEO of VIVA Bahrain, said.
