telus-retail-shop-canadaTELUS, a telecom operator in Canada, has selected CSG’s Wholesale Business Management Suite of solutions as a managed service.

The managed services agreement with CSG will enable TELUS to create an efficient cloud-based virtual back office to fulfill billing, contract management and financial management of their U.S. and international voice termination business.

“Moving the operational functions of our wholesale business management into a feature-rich, hosted and managed environment allows us to shift our focus to driving new products into the marketplace,” said Hanif Datoo, vice president of partner solutions at TELUS.

As part of a managed service agreement, CSG provides key components of its wholesale billing services hosted in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, including its Interconnect solution, designed to automate the wholesale settlements process.

“CSG’s managed services programs drive new efficiencies into existing technologies and processes while providing the flexibility to innovate for tomorrow,” said Ian Watterson, vice president of Americas and Asia-Pacific for CSG.

CSG’s main customers include Arrow Electronics, AT&T, Bharti Airtel, Charter Communications, Comcast, DISH, Eastlink, iFlix, MTN, TalkTalk, Telefonica, Telstra and Verizon.
