completed one year of operations for the Indian market.
Headquartered in Gurgaon, Symmetricom India is a sales
and service operation wing of its parent company that provides precise timing
and synchronization solutions and support for communications service providers,
enterprises and government customers
in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Symmetricom provides time and frequency solutions for
aerospace and defense applications. Furthermore, it offers high precision
frequency standards, including Cesium atomic clocks, hydrogen masers, and
time-scale systems which ensemble multiple sources to produce a common timing
standard.
The company also offers time and frequency sources and
distribution systems for public utilities and energy management.
In addition, the offering includes network time servers
and timing measurement solutions for enterprise networks and particularly
important for financial institutions.
The parent company generates, distributes and applies
precise time for the communications, aerospace/defense, IT infrastructure and

Recently, Symmetricom
announced new capabilities for its TimeProvider 5000, a carrier-grade IEEE
1588-2008 Grandmaster Clock built to handle stringent frequency and phase
requirements of next generation networks.
