Samsung announces vision to deliver connectivity and content across all of devices

Telecom Lead Asia: Samsung has introduced it 2012 product
catalogue and its vision to deliver connectivity and content across all of its
devices at the Samsung South West Asia Forum 2012 in Bangkok. The company has
also showcased its diverse array of new products.

 

The company unveils its Smart TV called the ES8000
LED TV that embeds a dual-core processor power, allowing users to multitask by
surfing the web while using or downloading multiple apps simultaneously.

 

This year, the company will unveil its GALAXY Tab
310 (7″), the first series to run on the Android 4.0 operating system, which is
also referred to as Ice Cream Sandwich.

 

Available in 3G and Wi-Fi versions, the GALAXY Tab 310
device is launching across different markets in South West Asia, starting April
2012.

 

Recently, Samsung
said that it is going to unveil its Galaxy smartphone portfolio with the launch
of Galaxy S III in the month of April this year.

 

Furthermore, Samsung unveiled the second generation of
Samsung’s Notebook Series 9, which is 21 percent thinner and 28 percent
smaller than its predecessor. The Notebook series is powered by Intel Core i7
Processor.

 

In addition to the company’s notebooks, Samsung announced
its mono laser multi-function printer, the SCX-3406FW. The printer’s state of
the art ecobutton” will reduce overall print costs by more than 20 percent.

 

Samsung has also announced its 27-inch Series 9 (S27B970)
monitor that provides the best viewing experience with life-like picture
quality.

 

The company has also shared its strategy to expand its
Asian markets and the worldwide launch of its CSR platforms under the banner of
Hope for Youth in South West Asia to raise awareness of the need for childhood
education and healthcare.

 

The South West Asia region remains a strong growth
market for Samsung and will continue to grow as consumers today lead
increasingly dynamic lifestyles, requiring technology and products that will
enrich and enhance their experiences,” said B D Park, president and CEO of
Samsung Electronics, South West Asia and Managing Director of Samsung India.

 

In collaboration with its NGO partners namely AID INDIA
and SMILE Foundation, Samsung is working with under-privileged children from
100 villages in Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

 

The company has also announced that between February and
June 2012, it will contribute Rs.100 to support these projects for every GALAXY
Note sold.
