Sprint takes on T-Mobile with new SMB offer

sprint-wireless-plan-for-smbsWireless major Sprint, which has 60.2 million connections in the US, announced a new Unlimited Freedom offer to small-to-medium businesses (SMBs).

Business customers, who can switch at least one line to Sprint and sign up for Unlimited Freedom with AutoPay, get unlimited data, talk and text starting at $18 per month / line with five lines until January 31, 2018.

For one line of service, business customers pay $55/month; for two lines, $90/month; and the third, fourth and fifth lines are free through 31 January 2018. Then customers pay the additional $25 per month for additional lines.

Sprint business customers activating five lines will spend $18 per line per month, compared to T-Mobile’s cost of $32 per line per month for five lines.

Customers get a free J3 Samsung phone with each new line activation, starting with the second line. There are conditions to get J3 smartphone from Samsung. In order to get Samsung Galaxy J3 – priced at $192 – customers need to sign 24 month installment agreement.

SMB businesses can receive up to 10 free phones with the Unlimited Freedom for Business Bundle. T-Mobile’s comparable bundle requires a minimum of five new activations and limits the number of free phones to five.

“We know small and medium businesses have a passion for growth,” said Kimberly Green-Kerr, vice president and general manager of Small & Medium Business at Sprint.

The offer is available through December 1 for new activations, and customers need to port at least one line.
