Mobile World Congress: ZTE managed services hits 81 percent in 2011

By
Telecom Lead Team:
ZTE at the Mobile World Congress announced
that the compound annual growth rate (CARG) for its managed services business
grew to 81 percent in 2011, the fastest such growth in the industry during the
period from 2007 to 1011.

The company’s 100 managed services contracts now serve more
than 100 million end users across the globe, ZTE said.

We are focused on transforming the
telecommunications industry,” said ZTE’s Head of Professional
Services Yang Jiaxiao. In 2012, our managed services will be dedicated to
improving end-user experiences by providing a full range of comprehensive
service solutions across sectors.”

The growth is mainly attributed to the change in
the company’s managed services strategy in 2005. Since then, the company’s
managed services business has been one of its fastest growing areas.

ZTE’s integrated end-to-end services solutions and
intelligent managed services solutions provide operators with services that
allow them to adapt to diverse demands. These include high-quality wireless,
wireline, access & bearer managed services.

ZTE has more than 100 million subscribers in Europe,
North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. To strengthen the
portfolio of managed services, the company announced partnership with
multinational operators such as Telenor, Teliasonera, Telefonica, Orange, H3G,
MTN, KPN, STC, ZAIN and others.

Austria H3G, which utilizes ZTE managed services, was
proved the fastest across German-speaking countries according to independent
tests conducted by European telecommunications publication CONNECT in
November 2011.

ZTE is exhibiting its products at Mobile World
Congress. The company, in association with 3 Sweden, has conducted an interactive video demonstration using
TD-LTE technology at Mobile World Congress 2012.
