Vodafone international roaming offers new features for Rs 500 as daily rent

Telecom network operator Vodafone India today announced the launch of international roaming packs for a daily rental of Rs 500.

For a price of Rs 500 towards daily rent, Vodafone India’s international roaming offers free incoming calls, outgoing calls at Rs 1 / minute and data browsing at Rs 1 / MB in 34 countries including UAE, Thailand, Singapore, USA, UK, China, Germany and Hong Kong.

“International Roaming was an area where customers were looking for a product that delivers value and convenience and makes the entire experience worry free. With the new Vodafone International Roaming Plan, our customers can now remain confidently connected even when they travel overseas,” said Sandeep Kataria, director – Commercial, Vodafone India.

Vodafone is the first telecom service provider to offer such plan for prepaid customers as well, in addition to postpaid customers. Users can book the international roaming plan up to 120-days in advance of their planned travel.

Vodafone India users can send SMS IROAMDAILY to 199 to know more about the International Roaming Daily Packs. Users can send SMS ACT IROAMDAILY<no.of days> to 199 to activate the Vodafone plan. For instance, for availing the pack for 5 days SMS ACT IROAMDAILY5 to 199 or dial *111*6*4#
