Number of complaints received by telecoms revealed

Telecom regulatory TRAI on Thursday revealed the number of complaints received by Indian mobile operators.

Bharti Airtel has received 38,89,799 complaints in March 2016 quarter against 32,09,450 in December 2015 quarter.

The number of complaints received by Aircel was 7,51,210 against 11,77,682.

The state-run BSNL has received 10,99,785 complaints against 14,93,333.

Idea got 10,77,257 complaints against 10,62,843.

As many as 18,74,253 complaints reached MTNL against 14,71,336.
Complaints at telecom operators
MTS received 1,66,473 complaints against 1,80,045.

Quadrant has 4,769 complaints against 39,700.

Reliance Communications received 16,55,485 complaints against 1,64,494.

The number of complaints from Tata Docomo customers was 2,83,323 against 3,02,358.

Vodafone had 18,01,005 complaints against 10,78,092.

Telenor India received 1,66,148 complaints in March quarter of 2016 as compared with 1,95,213 in December quarter of 2015, said TRAI.
