AT&T in telecom deal with Carmeuse

AT&T
Telecom network operator AT&T announced its deal with Carmeuse, a lime and limestone producer in Belgium, to connect its offices and locations in 65 sites around the world.

AT&T will provide MPLS services, as pert its new deal with Carmeuse for 5 years, to connect 3,100 employees from its Louvain-la-Neuve HQ to its lime plants. AT&T will be connecting Carmeuse employees across 30 sites in Europe and 35 in North America.

Patrick Worms, CIO at Carmeuse, said: “We need a global network with strong security features to stay competitive and be innovative. That’s why we chose AT&T.”

John Vladimir Slamecka, regional vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, AT&T, said: “Carmeuse is a new customer in Europe; it shows how companies in Belgium and Europe are turning to us for our global services.”
