Vodafone invests in 3G network on 2100 MHz spectrum in Bengaluru

Vodafone India pitches women to head 25 out of 95 operational zones
Mobile network operator Vodafone India has made investment for launching its own 3G network services – on 2100 MHz spectrum — in Bengaluru.

Vodafone 3G network is already available in 19 towns in Karnataka

“Bengaluru is a strategic and critical data market for us in Karnataka and in India. We have made significant investments in Karnataka to enhance customer experience. With the launch of our own 3G network, our customers in Bengaluru can now enjoy a superior data browsing experience,” said Suresh Kumar, operations director – South, Vodafone India.

Vodafone Karnataka is offering 3G recharge at Rs 97 for 500MB and Rs 149 for 750MB for 30 days for new customers. Existing subscribers can dial *121# from their phones to view their customized 3G offers.

Vodafone has around 76 lakhs customers in Karnataka circle and 58 percent is data users.
