Keysight in 5G development pact with KT

Test and measurement vendor Keysight Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KT Corporation, a telecom operator in South Korea, to work on 5G wireless technologies and other related areas.

Hong-Beom Jeon, senior vice president of Infrastructure Lab, Institute of Convergence Technology, KT, said they are expecting to reap results in the area of millimeter wave, one of the key enabling technologies of 5G for the transmission of wireless data through very wide bandwidth.
