CSG Systems extends billing deal with Charter

CSG Systems International has extended its billing deal with Charter Communications, a broadband provider and the fourth largest cable provider in the U.S.

The duration of the billing deal to provide residential billing and customer care services will be till December 31, 2019.

Currently, CSG provides its pre-integrated customer care and billing solution for Charter’s existing residential customers.

As per the extended five-year contract, Charter will consolidate additional customers that it may gain through acquisition activities onto CSG’s billing solution. Charter will also deploy elements of the new CSG Ascendon platform to manage customer profiles, preferences, and interactions, said CSG in a statement.

“We have worked with Charter to ensure that its customer care and billing systems are strategically aligned with this transformation and we look forward to the next phase of driving customer satisfaction, revenues and profits as they continue to grow,” said Peter Kalan, president and chief executive officer of CSG International.
