Wireless ARPU of American wireless carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile decreased in Q2 2014 as compared with Q4 2013, according to FCC statistics.
For instance, the Q2 ARPU of Verizon Wireless has decreased to $46.96 from $47.5 in Q4 2013. For comparison, ARPU of Indian telecom operators is around $3.
AT&T, which was #1 in terms of wireless ARPU in the U.S. telecom market, lost its position to Verizon Wireless.
ARPU of AT&T has decreased to $43.91 in Q2 2014 from $47.58 in Q4 2013.
Sprint’s ARPU declined to $43.55 from $44.83.
ARPU of T-Mobile dipped to $36.17 from $36.91.
