Tata Docomo announces Club Premier channel program

Indian telecom service provider Tata Docomo today announced Club Premier, an engagement program for its post-paid channel partners.

The strategy behind Club Premier, which will have three key categories – Silver, Gold and Platinum, is to reward channel partners based on their performance in the Indian telecom market.

Tata Docomo would offer monetary, exclusive and priority entitlements such as special gifts ranging from gold coins to offsite trainings, national meets with the leadership team of Tata Docomo, and also, travel abroad.

As per the latest channel program, the mobile service provider would offer unique identification at special dealer call centre, express activation of form submissions, loyalty bonus, special gifts and greetings on birthdays and anniversaries, company designed stationery.

Elango Thambiah, head – Mobility, Tata Teleservices, said: “Club Premier is one of the largest and most engaging programs we have initiated to build strong association with key channel partners. It is also to recognize their contribution and create a platform to bring them closer to the brand thus maintaining sustained growth and profitability.”

Tata Docomo, which competes with Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, BSNL, etc. aims at promoting competition amongst its channel partners that will strive for retaining their club memberships and further, make attempts to graduate to higher levels.
