Reliance Jio in tower sharing deal with Videocon Telecom for 4G roll outs

Indian mobile service provider Videocon Telecom announced its tower infrastructure sharing agreement with Reliance Jio Infocomm, a pan India 4G operator.

The tower sharing deal, Reliance Jio will get access to Videocon Telecom’s tower infrastructure across its circles to ensure cost saving, better network outreach and offer seamless network services to its 4G LTE consumers.

Videocon Telecom is also planning to explore more possibilities with Reliance Jio in terms of 4G network sharing, optical fiber network sharing, internet broadband services and other opportunities.

Recently, Videocon Telecom announced roll out of its 4G services using FD-LTE technology on 1800MHz across its operational six telecom circles where it owns liberalized license.

Videocon Telecom is looking at sharing its own National Long Distance (NLD) and International Long Distance (ILD) network.
