Telekom Malaysia taps Accenture to enhance IPVPN capabilities

Telekom Malaysia has tapped Accenture to deploy support systems for enhancing its Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN) capabilities to transform the delivery of data services for enterprises.

Malaysia’s largest telecom operator used Accenture’s systems integration capabilities to enable TM to provide its business customers with scalable solutions to help them improve their productivity.

By deploying its solutions, Accenture supported Telekom Malaysia to strengthen its business support systems – such as customer relationship management, billing, order management and portals – and operational support systems, including network inventory management and service activation to provide better services to enterprise customers.

Telekom Malaysia IPVPN services benefitted from better customer service, increasing its fulfillment volume, reducing installation times, and increasing the number of trouble tickets restored, enhanced TM’s business operations, etc.

Giorgio Migliarina, chief technology and innovation officer, Telekom Malaysia, said: “What TM is experiencing today is a cutting-edge solution that fulfills the increasing customer demands for IPVPN services. This solution has enabled TM to work more efficiently and serve our customers better, which is essential when supporting high-growth services.”
