Huawei assists Zon Optimus to release LTE access solution for enterprise users

Telecom equipment vendor Huawei is assisting Zon Optimus, a mobile operator in Portugal, to release an LTE multi-service access solution for enterprise users.

Zon Optimus will adopt the Huawei AR G3 Enterprise LTE Solution to complete its LTE service tests and deployment which will provide interconnection services for enterprises, said Huawei in a statement.

Huawei has partnered with Zon Optimus to commercially deploy a national LTE network that will provide wireless broadband network services to 70 percent of Portuguese users.

The company said Huawei AR G3 Enterprise LTE solution enables Zon Optimus to offer wireless access. In addition to meeting enterprise users’ requirements for high-speed transmission of voice, video, multimedia, and VPN services on LTE lines, the solution will also bring innovative technologies such as QoS and multi-link binding to ensure services are prioritized.

Manuel Eanes, Executive Board Member of the Zon Optimus, said: “We believe that LTE technology is key for the development of the multi-purpose networks of the future and an advantage for Zon Optimus.”
