Consumers view 167 million minutes of mobileTV on MobiTV-powered services in September

MobiTV, a provider of comprehensive managed services that
deliver live and on-demand television and related media content across mobile
devices, tablets, personal computers and other Internet-enabled consumer
electronics, announced that during the month of September 2011, consumers
viewed more than 167 million minutes of mobile television on MobiTV-powered
services.

This is the highest total for any month in MobiTV
history. Of note, 65 percent of the minutes viewed were live programming.

The viewership numbers demonstrate continued consumer
interest and demand for live mobile content, including one-time live events
such as President Obama’s inauguration and this year’s royal wedding, and
popular seasonal events such as college football and the NFL season.

our focus on delivering live television optimized for mobile devices,”
said Charlie Nooney, CEO, MobiTV.
“Last month’s data further demonstrates our operational excellence
as we continue to deliver high-quality content and support live events across
multiple networks, devices, and operating systems,” Nooney added.
