F5 launches UNITY Program in Asia Pacific for Channel Partners

F5 Networks announced the launch of the UNITY Partner
Program in Asia Pacific. Building on the previous success of program components
in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, the UNITY partner program
creates an openness in the F5 value-added partner community by establishing
clear success criteria to reward partner investment, and ultimately to
facilitate an outstanding customer experience.

We made a firm commitment to develop a global partner
program focused on illustrating the value of F5 solutions to effectively
address the application delivery needs of customers. Since introduced, the
UNITY program has been extremely well received and has quickly gained momentum
throughout North America, EMEA, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, helping partner
communities see dramatic increases in both pipeline and profitability,” said
Dean Darwin, VP of Worldwide Channels at F5.

UNITY underscores F5’s continued dedication to its
worldwide channel by including new efforts that deliver higher returns as
partners add more value for customers, provide partners with a deeper knowledge
of ADN solutions, and simplify the ways partners can do business with F5.

The program defines clear, measurable expectations and
protects the investments of partners, ultimately helping them deliver
world-class solutions to meet the diverse, evolving IT needs of their
customers. With its full disclosure of the rules and requirements, UNITY is one
of the most open channel programs in the industry, helping F5 develop strong,
collaborative relationships worldwide.

Unified Deal Registrationenables partners to better identify and pursue opportunities,
leading to smoother sales cycles and enhanced returns.

UNITY features discounts based on partners providing
clearly defined value-added services, including training programs that increase
their customers’ awareness and knowledge of application delivery solutions. F5
Sales and Technical Accreditation programs are designed to establish a
consistent and powerful learning methodology for F5’s growing network of
partners worldwide, and are available to F5 partners at no cost.

Tight integration with F5’s CRM infrastructure gives
partners the ability to intelligently track sales opportunities, and simplifies
access to solution information and other F5 resources.

F5 arms channel partners with dedicated marketing
resources, including programmatic support for lead generation, customer-focused
events, and targeted outreach campaigns.

The UNITY program provides great incentives to the
channel, clearly defines what partners need to do to draw benefits from new
opportunities and highlights what F5 will provide in return. This is essential
for the success of any channel program,” said Bennett Wong, country general
manager, Avnet Technology Solutions, Singapore.

F5 Networks recently announced that it has acquired
the intellectual property assets of Crescendo Networks.

Crescendo developed hardware solutions to help
organizations address application delivery challenges, winning a number of
industry awards for its innovative products.
