Google has launched the Pixel 11 smartphone series in India, strengthening its premium Android portfolio with the new Tensor G6 processor, deeper Gemini AI integration, upgraded cameras, brighter displays and faster wireless charging.
The line-up includes four smartphones: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Prices start at ₹89,999 for the Pixel 11, ₹1,19,999 for the Pixel 11 Pro, ₹1,34,999 for the Pixel 11 Pro XL and ₹1,86,999 for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google Pixel 11 smartphones are available here.
In the United States, the Pixel 11 starts at $899, while Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL begin at $1,099 and $1,299, respectively. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold carries a starting price of $1,899. The three conventional models are $100 more expensive than their comparable starting prices a year earlier, but Google has increased base storage to 256GB.
Pre-orders opened on August 12, 2026, with retail availability scheduled for August 20.
Tensor G6 and Gemini AI power Pixel 11 series
All four Pixel 11 smartphones are powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor and run Android 17. Google is positioning the devices around Gemini Intelligence, including proactive assistance and AI features that can complete multi-step tasks across applications.
The series introduces live media translation, improved speech-to-text capabilities and closer integration between Circle to Search and the Pixel Camera. Buyers of Pixel 11 Pro models also receive six months of the Google AI Pro plan.
HiLight, an LED-based notification system incorporated around the camera flash on the Pro models, provides colour-coded visual alerts for selected contacts and Gemini interactions. Google plans to expand HiLight to additional message notifications over time.
The camera-focused Creator tab includes a teleprompter, video-stabilisation tools and audio-editing capabilities. Magic Capture can record video and high-quality photographs together, automatically selecting, cropping and sharpening useful frames. Camera Looks allows users to apply custom visual styles to their photographs.
Pixel 11 Pro brings 120x zoom and brighter displays
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL feature triple rear cameras comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera and a 48MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Google has extended digital zoom capability to as much as 120x, while the front camera offers 42MP resolution.
The Pixel 11 Pro has a 6.3-inch Super Actua display with 1280 × 2856 resolution, while the Pro XL uses a 6.8-inch display with 1344 × 2992 resolution. Both screens support a variable refresh rate of between 1Hz and 120Hz and reach peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
Google says a new display coating delivers more than twice the scratch resistance of the previous generation. Both phones also offer IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Pixel 11 Pro contains a 4,850mAh battery and supports 30W wired charging, reaching around 55 percent in 30 minutes. The Pro XL has a 5,115mAh battery with 45W charging that can reach approximately 75 percent in 30 minutes. Both models promise more than 30 hours of battery life and support Pixelsnap wireless charging at up to 25W.
Storage options include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold becomes thinner, lighter and three times stronger
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is almost 10 percent lighter and approximately 1mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Its gearless hinge, ceramic outer-display glass and glass-fibre composite rear cover make it three times more durable than the previous model, according to Google.
Both foldable displays are 20 percent brighter and can reach 3,600 nits. The handset carries an IP68 dust and water-resistance rating and comes with 16GB of RAM.
A 48MP main camera leads the foldable’s camera system, while its telephoto camera delivers up to 30x Super Zoom. The device offers more than 24 hours of battery life.
Its 30W wired charging can replenish 50 percent of the battery in approximately 30 minutes. Built-in Qi2.2 wireless charging reaches 25W, making it 20 percent faster than the previous Pixel Fold.
Google has also introduced sign-to-text translation on the Fold. The feature allows American Sign Language users to sign through the front camera while translated text appears on the outer display. Fold-oriented productivity functions include Split Screen, Drag and Drop, Instant View and app Bubbles for multitasking.
With higher prices, 256GB base storage, upgraded camera capabilities and extensive Gemini features, the Pixel 11 launch shows Google using AI, photography and long-term Android integration to challenge Apple and Samsung in the premium smartphone market.
