The solution will enhance Fibrus’ network security, particularly against DDoS attacks, and support growing broadband demand.

Fibrus has connected over 100,000 customers and nearly 400,000 premises, and the Deepfield solution will offer critical traffic insights and optimize network performance.

The technology helps reduce operational costs while ensuring reliable, high-quality service.

Fibrus is managing rapid network growth, driven by a 50 percent FTTH service uptake and offerings like 2 Gbps plans.

Nokia’s scalable Deepfield solution will support future expansions, including 25/50/100G PON technologies.

Nokia has been supporting Fibrus since 2020, helping to deliver high-speed broadband to underserved rural areas in Northern Ireland.
