Vodafone Group announced the appointment of Margherita Della Valle as Chief Executive Officer.
Margherita Della Valle is currently the CFO and the interim CEO of Vodafone Group. Vodafone said it conducted an internal and external search before finalizing Margherita Della Valle as the CEO.
Margherita has a strong track record during her long career at Vodafone in marketing, operational, commercial and financial positions.
Margherita Della Valle will also continue as Group Chief Financial Officer until an external search for a new Group Chief Financial Officer is complete.
Margherita Della Valle’s remuneration as Group Chief Executive will be: base salary of £1,250,000 per annum, bonus of maximum of 200 percent of base, LTIP of maximum of 500 percent of base, pension of 10 percent of base as an allowance, in line with the wider UK workforce and car allowance of £19,200.
