Ooredoo Myanmar CEO Vikram Sinha indicated about the telecom operator’s entry into 5G services in the future.
Earlier this year, Ooredoo completed a 4G Pro network demonstration, showcasing its readiness to bring a 5G service in Myanmar.
The telecom operator said 92 percent of the population, including over 300 townships, will be covered by Ooredoo’s 4G Plus network by the end of 2018. Ooredoo Myanmar said its fiber coverage will reach over 15,000 km across Myanmar.

Earlier this year Ooredoo Myanmar became the fastest network in Myanmar, according to the Ookla Speedtest Intelligence analysis for Q1–Q2 2018.
