Vodafone India announced the launch of Vodafone SuperNetTM 4G services built on the 1800 MHz spectrum band in Jhajjar.
The launch accompanied a mini marathon organized by Vodafone India in the presence of Jashandeep Singh Randhawa, Superintendent of Police, to promote health awareness.
Vodafone said the 1800 MHz band and the network will support fast internet services and additional offerings like high definition video streaming, mobile gaming and two-way video calling.
The SuperNet 4G service in Haryana claims to be backed by a fiber backhaul with support from its 3G services.
Vodafone is also offering international roaming on 4G for its Indian users in 25 countries including UK, UK, US, UAE, Singapore and Canada with promises of many more soon.
Vodafone said SuperNet 4G will be launched in 1,000 towns across the country by 2016 end.

Seventy percent of the subscriber base of Vodafone lies in the nine circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, UP (E) and West Bengal.

Vodafone will launch 4G services across eight more circles by March 2017, spanning 17 service areas to keep up with Airtel and Reliance Jio.
Vodafone had been the most aggressive bidder at the recent auction, buying spectrum worth Rs 20,280 crore for airwaves in the 4G bands of 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz and the 3G band of 2100 MHz. It increased its total spectrum holding by 62 per cent, after the auction.
Vodafone announced that it has invested more than Rs 2,000 crore in its expansion in Odisha, with plans to invest Rs 750 crore in Karnataka and Rs 500 crore in Gujarat to enhance its network.
Vodafone recently announced its third quarter results, pointing to a loss of 100K data subscribers in the quarter owing to Jio impact.
Vodafone also conveyed that it made capital investments of Rs 3,356 crore in the first half of current fiscal, mainly investing in new site roll-out. Currently, the group has 13,000 mobile sites for its 4G services.
