Verizon expands 4G network in New Hampshire and Massachusetts

American telecom service provider Verizon Wireless on Monday announced the expansion of its 4G LTE network in Milford, New Hampshire and Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

After launching 4G LTE network in New Hampshire in December 2011, Verizon Wireless enhanced network coverage in downtown Milford, as well as the surrounding area.

This apart, Verizon Wireless, which unveiled 4G in Boston in December 2010, has enhanced network coverage along Route 110 and River Road in Tewksbury.

Verizon Wireless completed $178.8 million in wireless network enhancements across New England in the first half of 2014, increasing the company’s regional network investment to $3.73 billion since its inception in 2000.

The company’s 4G LTE network in the U.S. is available to nearly 305 million people in more than 500 markets across the country. Verizon Wireless network covers more than 97 percent of the U.S. population.
