Telenet changes top management as part of new operating model

Telecom operator Telenet announced changes in top management as part of bringing a modified operating model.
Telenet investment plansTelenet, as part of the modified operating model, aims to focus on four growth areas: (1) connectivity for residential customers, (2) connectivity and ICT solutions for business customers, (3) entertainment and media and (4) new business, with an absolute emphasis on the best user experience for customers at its core.

Telenet said Patrick Vincent (59), EVP Customer Interactions and BASE, will leave the company on 31 December 2022.

Benedikte Paulissen will be appointed Chief Customer Operations Officer responsible for customer interactions.

Dieter Nieuwdorp will be managing all activities for the BASE brand. Dieter Nieuwdorp will operate as Chief Commercial Officer Residential & SOHO for Telenet and BASE.

Telenet announced that Micha Berger, Chief Technology Officer, will focus on the expansion of the network to 10 Gbps from April 1, 2023. Micha Berger will, at CEO John Porter’s request, manage a team of 180 people who will work on the improvement of the existing HFC network and the preparation of the roll-out of the network.

Luk Bruynseels (41), currently VP Network and Infrastructure within the Technology department, will join Telenet’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as Chief Product & Technology Officer, from 1 April 2023.
