MTN and Sensory International partner to offer VSAT services

MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), a global provider of
communications, connectivity and content services to remote locations, and
Sensory International, an architect, designer and installer of complex and
sophisticated automation systems for the marine and residential markets,
announced a partnership to provide integrated VSAT services and connectivity to
superyachts.

As a result of this partnership, customers now have a
single source for procuring all of their onboard automation requirements
supported by the most reliable VSAT connectivity available.

“Over the past 10 years, we have honed and perfected
our craft in the most challenging and critical environments of all: aboard
superyachts. Our systems include audio-visual, security, lighting control, IT
networking, communications and any other type of demand customers may
have,” said Nigel Sherlock, business development manager for Sensory
International.

“MTN has built a reputation as being the VSAT
provider of choice in the larger yacht market and we know that they will
provide our customers with the most reliable connectivity to ensure their
services are ‘always on,” Sherlock added.

Sensory will provide MTN’s reliable VSAT services and
support to its customers that own yachts 50 meters or more in length. In
addition, MTN’s VSAT systems will serve as the cornerstone product in Sensory’s
new Communications Division.

The companies are beginning to work together on projects
and training Sensory’s staff to provide technical support for MTN’s VSAT
solutions to ensure that customer service is consistent around the globe.

“Sensory International was founded by two former
superyacht captains, so they have an intimate understanding of the connectivity
requirements for these vessels,” said Kerry Pettitt, head of business
development for MTN’s yacht division in EMEA and Asia.

“This knowledge, coupled with MTN’s expertise in the
satellite communications market, will provide the industry with leading
connectivity on some of the world’s most luxurious yachts,” Pettitt added.

MTN
continues to expand sales and service capabilities through its tiered
partnership program and agreements with leading marine electronics companies in
major maritime centers. These relationships ensure prompt and attentive
shipboard service and technical support products around the world.

MTN Satellite Communications recently announced that it
is celebrating
its 30th year in the satellite communications (satcom) industry.

Over the past three decades, the company has contributed
greatly to the evolution of the satellite industry and continues to deliver
communications solutions that address the needs of today’s end users both
commercial and government.
