America Movil Q3 2025 Results: Revenue Hits MXN 232.9 Billion, 5G Expansion and AI Partnership Drive Growth

America Movil reported revenues of MXN 232.9 billion in Q3 2025, up 4.2 percent year-over-year.

Service revenue rose 6.2 percent, driven by a 7.1 percent increase in mobile services and a 4.7 percent gain in fixed-line services.

Mobile postpaid revenue climbed 9.1 percent, while prepaid grew 3.9 percent.

EBITDA reached MXN 93.8 billion, increasing 4.9 percent year-over-year, maintaining a 40.3 percent margin. Net income surged to MXN 22.7 billion, up from MXN 6.4 billion a year earlier.

The company’s capital expenditures totaled MXN 84.9 billion for the first nine months of 2025 as against MXN 86.73 for the same period in 2024.

Subscriber growth continued, adding 3.1 million postpaid customers in the quarter — led by Brazil (+1.5 million), Colombia (+251,000), Peru (+198,000), and Mexico (+98,000).

Broadband customer base rose by 526,000 to 36.4 million.

ARPU improved across key markets: Mexico (+4.9 percent to MXN 186), Brazil (+7.3 percent to BRL 27), Colombia (+3.9 percent to COP 15,410), and Central America (+11.5 percent to USD 9).

America Movil continued investing in 5G spectrum and infrastructure, including new 100 MHz spectrum in Peru’s 3.5 GHz band and the launch of 5G services in Costa Rica.

In September, America Movil granted the use of 100 MHz of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band, which will be instrumental for the operation of 5G network that covers 12 major cities. This additional spectrum will allow Claro to increase its coverage, network speed and customer experience.

America Movil is aiming for a potential acquisition of Telefonica’s Chilean assets in partnership with local telecom firm Entel. America Movil is also aiming for buying internet provider Desktop in Brazil.

Claro has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its service offerings. As part of this initiative, Claro Multi customers will have complimentary access to the ChatGPT Plus version during the promotional period.
