Airtel invests in 4G services in Cuddalore and Ambur

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of its 4G services in Cuddalore and Ambur in Tamil Nadu.

George Mathen, hub CEO – Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel, said: “As customers in India show an increasing propensity for consuming data services, we at Airtel are excited to take the lead in introducing the market to the power of blazing 4G speeds.”

Bharti Airtel, the top telecom operator in India, announced Project Leap, its Rs 60,000 crore investment program for three years, in November 2015.

The telecom service provider is spending substantially in its 4G network with the purpose of augmenting 4G experience to customers of Tamil Nadu. Bharti Airtel was the first telecom operator to launch 4G in Tamil Nadu in June 2015.
