Airtel expands 4G coverage to Siliguri in North Bengal

Siliguri has become the first town in North Bengal to receive 4G services with Bharti Airtel announcing the launch of the high-speed Internet services.

Airtel 4G, the first telecom operator to launch 4G in India, is offering 4G on 2300 MHz (TD LTE) spectrum for better mobile broadband experience in Siliguri.

In order to promote Airtel 4G, the Indian telecom operator is selling 4G packages at the price of 3G data.

“We have plans to cover all major locations in the North Bengal and Sikkim shortly. Customers in Siliguri can now look forward to a superlative smartphone experience with Airtel 4G. We invite all data savvy customers to upgrade to Airtel 4G and be a part of India’s widest 4G network,” said Ravindra Singh Negi, CEO – West Bengal & Odisha, Bharti Airtel.
