Airtel 4G network goes live in Jharkhand

Bharti Airtel today announced the availability of 4G network on dual spectrum bands of 1800 MHz (FD LTE) and 2300 MHz (TD LTE) in Jharkhand.

The telecom network operator is offering 4G mobile Internet services in Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Godda, Lohardaga, Pakur, Jamtara, Giridih and Barhi.

Airtel 4G services is now available in 21 circles across India. Reliance Jio is offering 4G services across the country.

“We have installed special demo zones and kiosks at all the Airtel retail stores to facilitate easy 4G SIM upgrades for customers,” said Ajai Puri, director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel, in a statement.

Customers across these cities in Jharkhand can switch their existing 2G / 3G SIMs with 4G ready USIMs free of cost and enjoy 2GB free 4G data with the upgrade.

Bharti Airtel is offering 10 GB of 4G data for Rs 247 with any new 4G handset. With Rs 247 recharge, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by the customer through My Airtel app. Users can do 3 recharges within 90 days.
