Zain Kuwait selects Turkcell technology as campaign management solution provider

Zain Kuwait, a mobile operator in Kuwait, has selected
Turkcell Technology’s Campaign Management System as a tool for extending
personalized offers to its customers, whilst saving on the huge operational
effort involved.

“We have deployed Turkcell Technology’s Campaign
Management System at Zain Kuwait, and our teams have been using it
since November 2011. We are very pleased with the performance of the Turkcell
Technology team during and after deployment, and are receiving positive
feedback from both marketing and operation groups,” said Yaqoub Y
Khajah, Zain Kuwait chief
technical officer.

“With this tool, we will dramatically simplify
operations, reduce operating expenditures, and offer our customers the most
relevant services personalized for their specific needs, thereby retaining our
competitive edge,” Khajah  added.

The Turkcell Technology Campaign Management System is an
intuitive solution enabling telecom companies to optimize their marketing
efforts, offer consistent customer service across multiple channels and build a
more profitable customer dialogue by creating automated marketing processes.

In addition, the Turkcell Technology Campaign Management System introduces tailor-made
telecom-specific features, modular infrastructure and generic integration,
allowing telecom companies to easily integrate and customize the system to
comply with ever changing business needs.

“As part of this project, we have deployed our
Campaign Management System and performed its seamless integration to Zain
Kuwait’s back-end systems with the support of Zain Kuwait and Netas teams. The
Turkcell Technology Campaign Management System will provide Zain Kuwait with
intelligent tools for each process in a campaign life cycle: campaign analysis,
customer targeting, campaign planning, execution, fulfillment and response
gathering,” said Vasfi Nejat Somay of Turkcell Technology.

Recently, Zain Kuwait signed a $650
million deal to outsource the network of its Iraq unit to telecom equipment
provider Ericsson.
The agreement

covers Zain Iraq’s 3,700 network sites,
including the Kurdish north where the operator recently launched commercial
services,
