Vodafone offers IBM MobileFirst to expand enterprise mobility biz

IBM MobileFirst for iOS Expert Seller App
Vodafone Netherlands will offer IBM MobileFirst solutions to its enterprise clients as part of expanding enterprise mobility offerings.

The company said selection of IBM MobileFirst will enable Vodafone to expand its Ready Business, which includes communications solutions aimed at assisting businesses to become innovative, collaborative and responsive to their customers and employees.

“Together, we are empowering our enterprise clients with enhanced mobile capabilities that simplify business processes, increase employee productivity, enable deeper customer engagement and drive overall growth,” said Alexander Saul, director Enterprise Business Unit Vodafone Netherlands.

IBM MobileFirst solutions including infrastructure, apps and services allow business clients to create mobile solutions to reach new markets and improve customer engagement.

Vodafone is already utilizing iPads loaded with the IBM MobileFirst for iOS Expert Seller app to serve clients, equip corporate account managers with mobile access to know about Vodafone’s products before they go in to a client meeting.

Vodafone corporate account managers sell enterprise clients Vodafone’s portfolio of products, ranging from mobile point-of-sale terminals to networking systems. The IBM MobileFirst for iOS app will help these employees better prepare for effective client discussions.

The Expert Seller app retrieves the most up-to-date content from Vodafone’s databases, including the most recent information in Vodafone’s products.
