Uninor unveils special tariff plans for students and youth

Uninor launched a special ‘Yuva Pack’ created exclusively
for the students and youth of Mumbai. With a focus on what youth want the Yuva
Pack’s tariff plan seeks to give greater value for money and more benefits for
Rs 80 each month.

The ‘Yuva Pack’ bundles the basic communication package
of talk-time, SMS and Internet that caters to today’s youth. Besides a call
rate of 2 paisa/ minute from Uninor-to-Uninor, one of the cheapest on net
calling rates, this youth plan gives youth the unprecedented benefit of 6000
local and national SMS to any operator along with 1GB of free GPRS usage.

We recognize the need of today’s youth to stay
connected. In fact our research has shown that youth, especially college-going,
are the biggest users of SMS and MMS. With the “Yuva Pack” we seek to not only
meet their basic need to chat but also make it easy for them to enjoy enhanced
services. Uninor’s Yuva Pack has a whole array of attractive services available
at a very reasonable price. This plan is part of our continuous effort in
meeting the changing requirements of our consumers,” said Upanga Dutta, circle
business head, Mumbai.

Uninor recently announced the launchof a new product that offers low STD call rates across the country. Called STV
36, this plan offers a call rate of 30 paisa/ per minute across the country,
making it the best value for money STD product available in the market.
