Sprint introduces Samsung Galaxy Nexus on its network

Telecom Lead America: Wireless major Sprint has
introduced 4G enabled Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus on its network. The introduction
of this 4G enabled smartphone is a part of a series of announcements, under
which the carrier is expanding its 4G offerings.

 

Galaxy Nexus will be available in Sprint Stores, Sprint
Business Sales, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and Web Sales beginning on Sunday,
April 22, for $199.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line of service or eligible
upgrade and two-year service agreement.

 

The carrier said that pre-order has already begun.
Customers who pre-order Galaxy Nexus will begin receiving their devices as
early as Friday, April 20 — two days before the device goes on sale — while
supplies last.

 

Galaxy Nexus runs on Android 4.0 and equipped with 4G LTE
capability. It boasts a Pure Google experience, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a
4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED(TM) contour display and dual cameras enabling video
chat.

 

Galaxy Nexus on Sprint also features Google Wallet,
turning the smartphone into a wallet using Near Field Communication (NFC) to
make safe purchases at more than 100,000 participating retailers.

 

Galaxy Nexus has a full-featured 5-megapixel camera with
automatic focus and 1080p video capture, top-notch, low-light performance and
zero shutter lag.

 

The new smartphone is available with Sprint’s Everything
Data plan with Any Mobile, Anytime, which includes unlimited web, texting and
calling to and from any mobile in America while on the Sprint Network, starting
at just $79.99 per month for smartphones.

 

Sprint recently announced Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas,
Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio are expected to have 4G LTE and enhanced 3G service in mid-year 2012.

 

Sprint unveils HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone on its network

 

Recently, Sprint introduced HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone on
its 4G LTE network. HTC EVO 4G LTE will be available in the second quarter for
$199.99 (excludes taxes and surcharges).
