Proximus under the leadership of Dominique Leroy achieved positive results in the last four years, both in top- and bottom line.

Proximus followed a new strategy Shift to digital for driving the transformation of the mobile operator company from a connectivity player to a digital services provider. Proximus also launched a 3 billion euro fiber roll-out plan and recently negotiated a mobile access network sharing agreement to accelerate the deployment of 5G.

Proximus posted 2.6 percent drop in domestic revenue at EUR 1,084 million in the second quarter of 2019. Revenue from telecom services fell 1.4 percent to EUR 789 million. Revenue from Proximus mobile services fell 1.3 percent to EUR 304 million. Revenue from fixed services dropped 1.5 percent.

Proximus grew its customer base for Internet (+1.9 percent) and TV (+ 2.4 percent), in spite of intense competition. This was supported by Proximus’ multi-play offers gaining further traction.
