Idea achieves 1,000 customer service centers in Maharashtra

Telecom operator Idea Cellular has achieved 1,000 customer service centers in Maharashtra and Goa.

The Aditya Birla group company services more than two crore subscribers in the region. Idea claims that it is the # telecom operator in Maharashtra and Goa.

Idea Cellular currently has 3G network coverage in over 5,000 towns and villages in Maharashtra and Goa.

The telecom operator aims to add one store per day on an average in 2015.

Out of the 1,000 showrooms in the region, 300 centers cater to pre-paid and post-paid subscribers in the urban market, while the remaining 700 service centers provide services to prepaid customers in semi- urban and rural market. Post-paid subscribers can deposit their bills as well.

“As our mobile subscribers upgrade to smartphones, we will continue to upgrade world class service facilities and manpower to help them get the best 3G experience,” said Rajendra Chourasia, chief operating officer of Idea Cellular Maharashtra & Goa.
