Indian telecom department has reportedly allocated 1800 MHz spectrum to Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Reliance Jio Infocomm and Uninor.

These operators won the 2G spectrum during an auction held in February 2014.

A report in Economic Times said some of these telecom operators, however, are still waiting for 900 MHz spectrum.

Bharti Airtel, promoted by billionaire Sunil Mittal, received 1800 MHz in all 15 circles that they won during the February 2014 spectrum auction.
