Airtel appoints Adarsh Nair as Chief Product Officer

Adarsh Nair, Chief Product Officer, Bharti AirtelBharti Airtel today announced it has appointed Adarsh Nair as Chief Product Officer, with responsibilities for Airtel’s digital products and platforms.

Adarsh will report to Gopal Vittal, MD & CEO (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel.

In his new role, he will also play a pivotal role in the company’s digital transformation journey and will work with partners and Airtel’s leadership team to identify and prioritize market opportunities.

Commenting on the appointment Gopal Vittal said, “Airtel has always attracted the best of global talent and continues to provide a culture of empowerment and growth to its people. We are delighted to have Adarsh on board and his diverse experience will add immense value to our Airtel 3.0 vision. I wish Adarsh the very best for his new role.”

Nair has joined Airtel from Convoy (United States), where he was the Head of Product & Growth. At Convoy, Nair was part of the leadership team that grew the company from a US$ 25 million to over a US$ 1 billion valuation. His team is credited with successfully architecting 10x revenue growth.

Nair’s previous engagements include Lead, Product, Data and Engineering at Marchex; and Lead, Product Group at Microsoft.
