WebNMS in pact with VeEX to deliver carrier Ethernet network solutions

WebNMS, a provider of network management and IoT solutions, has joined hands with VeEX, a telecom and CATV test solutions vendor, to deliver carrier Ethernet network management solutions.

The two companies will deliver service management, including service provisioning, activation and performance monitoring.

“The VePAL UX400 gives telecom carriers a tool for remote test automation, now manageable through the unified WebNMS Carrier Ethernet Solution,” said Prabhu Ramachandran, director of WebNMS.

The VeEX VePAL UX400 Universal Test Platform offers concurrent service testing across network ports, including the latest 40G and 100G OTN and Ethernet interfaces.

By integrating the VePAL UX400 with the WebNMS Carrier Ethernet Solution, the partners give their carrier customers high-fidelity performance monitoring, including service activation testing, under a unified network management platform.

VePAL UX400 helps reduce operational costs by enabling automated service activation testing and performance monitoring for Carrier Ethernet 2.0 services.

WebNMS, a telecom software division of Zoho Corporation, has more than 25,000 deployments across the globe. WebNMS has extended its features to address SDN orchestration and automate Carrier Ethernet (CE) and MPLS services.
