VVDN Technologies Inaugurates SMT Line for 4G and 5G Connectivity Modules in Partnership with Telit Cinterion

VVDN Technologies inaugurated a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line dedicated to producing 4G and 5G connectivity modules and data cards for Telit Cinterion, a global leader in intelligent edge solutions.
VVDN Technologies manufacturingThe inaugural ceremony, held on Tuesday at VVDN Technologies in Manesar, Gurugram, was graced by the presence of Union Minister for Railways and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Telit Cinterion CEO Paolo Dal Pino.

Minister Vaishnaw commended the complex manufacturing process initiated by VVDN Technologies and lauded the company’s commitment to fostering a diverse workforce, with over 70 percent being talented female employees.

Telit Cinterion acknowledged that its decision to manufacture in India would expand business reach and models within the country.

VVDN Technologies, equipped with capabilities spanning PCB assembly, mechanical engineering, tooling and molding, die casting, complete Product Testing Services (PTS), pre-compliance certification, and advanced cybersecure software and firmware flashing, is poised to mass-manufacture cutting-edge electronic products.

Puneet Agarwal, CEO, and Co-founder of VVDN Technologies, outlined the scope of the new SMT line, stating, “This new dedicated SMT line will manufacture modules, data cards, and custom products. VVDN will be mass manufacturing modules and data cards that find application in a wide array of industries such as smart energy, EV charging, smart buildings, telematics, and retail.”

CEO Paolo Dal Pino of Telit Cinterion acknowledged India’s emergence as a global leader in high-quality electronics manufacturing. He described the partnership with VVDN as a game-changer, facilitating faster time-to-customer and enabling digital transformation in India.

VVDN Technologies, boasting 11 R&D centers and 7 manufacturing plants, remains committed to electronics product engineering and manufacturing for OEMs across the world, further solidifying India’s position on the global technology map.
