India’s Telecom Secretary Neeraj Mittal has experienced Advanced Intelligent Transport Safety use case at the Ericsson booth during Day 3 of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023.
This demo addresses safety concerns for truck drivers by harnessing digital twins and AI technology. Ericsson’s in-house solution, the Gemini System uses 5G-connected cameras and AI algorithms to track vulnerable road users (VRUs) in real-time. The VRUs are mirrored in a city’s Digital Twin, providing valuable insights, and improving road safety through 5G and AI-powered support for drivers and pedestrians.
