STL reports revenue of Rs 1203 crore, generating 31% from abroad

STL (Sterlite Technologies) announced results for the third quarter ending December 31, 2019. The Indian network supplier has achieved order book of Rs 8,535 crore.

STL reported revenue of Rs 1,203 crore, EBITDA of Rs 247 crore and PAT of Rs. 91 crore. STL’s export is 31 percent of revenue.

Anand Agarwal, group CEO of STL, said: “We increased our order book over the last quarter and have shown a 21 percent revenue growth (9-months YTD) as compared to last year. Our transformation from an optical fiber company to an end-to-end data networks integrator has significantly increased our overall addressable market.”

STL acquired 12.8 percent stake in ASOCS, a virtual Radio Access Networks (vRAN) supplier, for creating 5G solutions and empowering customers to build network.

STL completed 65 percent of Indian Navy project and established the first ever Data Centre for Navy’s transition to new-age applications. 55 percent of Mahanet project delivered with network infrastructure deployment to over 2000 gram panchayats.

STL has won the T-Fiber project worth about Rs 1100 crore to deliver digital infrastructure to 6 million rural citizens of Telangana.

STL was selected by Telekom Albania for its digital transformation program.
