NetComm Wireless unveils new Smart Hub 4G with Telus

Telecom Lead Asia: NetComm Wireless launched its new
Smart Hub 4G with Telus. The new Smart Hub 4G enhances the data and voice
benefits of the original Smart Hub with superior 4G speeds, reach and capacity.

 

The new solution is designed to operate on the Telus 4G
LTE network. It provides consumer and business users with landline equivalent
Internet, phone and WiFi connectivity without the need for a fixed broadband
connection.

 

NetComm Smart Hub 4G provides instant access to
high-speed internet connection that can be shared across numerous devices such
as laptops, tablet computers and smart phones with WiFi. It uses standard
analog phones and offers an easy movable on-line phone service.

 

“Businesses can now run their mobile workforce,
trade shows, events and temporary business setups from virtually anywhere with
all the benefits of a landline,” said Jim Senko, vice-president of
Small and Medium Business Marketing at Telus.

 

NetComm Smart Hub 4G has the ability to create a fast 4G
internet connection wherever an electrical power outlet or coverage exist.
The new Smart Hub 4G also offers an alternate fixed line connection via
Ethernet WAN. Additionally, in the case of fixed line failure, the new Smart
Hub 4G also supports business continuity with automatic failover to 4G.

NetComm Smart Hub 4G is designed to provide
all-in-one connectivity with plug and simple use. Features include Quad-Band
HSPA,HSPA+ up to 21Mbps downlink, 2 Voice ports, Ethernet LAN 10/100; WiFi with
speeds reaching 300Mbps, Ethernet WAN, Automatic failover to Wireless WAN,
advanced WEP, WPA and WPA2 wireless security and VPN pass-through support for
secure connections over the public cellular network.

 

TELUS selects Openet Policy Manager to improve subscriber
experience

to improve subscriber experience and flexibility to gain a competitive
